We have an onsite Brass and Wood wind shop NO WAIT !!! We will provide a loaner while your instrument is being serviced.

Since 1994, A. Starr Music has been servicing school systems and individual customers statewide and

Mr. Alan Stroppa,
Proprietor, has over 25 years experience in the music business and has
been working with some of the finest string luthiers and rental/repair
music companies.
He is an accomplished
string luthier and has attended a six year course at The University Of
New Hampshire Violin Craftsman Institute.
Alan
has a very professional and caring approach to all students, making
sure every instrument is set up correctly so the student will be
encouraged to enjoy playing music.

A. Starr Music offers a very simple yet affordable rent to own purchase
plan. Students will receive a "like new" instrument of their choice.
A. Starr Music takes pride in their rental instruments which are
carefully and professionally adjusted, regulated, play tested and
sanitized.
Students will be building rental credit and have an option to buy. They
will receive a generous discount including their rental credit within
the first year.
Loaners are available during the repair process.
We
have a variety of student to intermediatle level brand instruments such
as Gemienhardt, Blessing, Olds and Reynolds band instruments.
Our
string instruments our brands such as Firenza, Strunal, Aubert,
MathisThoma. If there is a special request for any other brand, we are
in a position to satisfy your needs.
* We will deliver to your school for all your rental instruments. We also sell new and like new instruments for your school.

range of instruments including alto sax, flute, clarinet, trumpet,
trombone, piano, drums, percussion, vocals and all string instruments.
Our lesson rooms are spacious and fully equipped . Parents are welcomed to observe their child's lesson at any time.
All instructors are professional, courteous and accessible to students of all ages.
Lessons are provided once a week for thirty (30) minutes in a
comfortable, relaxed environment where students are encouraged to do
their best.

On
Sunday June 8, 2008, A. Starr music held its First annual Music
Recital. The event took place at The Northampton Municipal Park and
WOW!! - what a turn out! 200 PLUS people in 100 degree heat. The
students that participated were given the opportunity to perform on
stage for family and friends.
